Even when things go to hell...
This song was originally going to be about me wanting to buy an '87 Cutlass Supreme car, but at this point, I already had the instrumental together. All I could think about when I listened to the instrumental was the end of the world to be honest. I imagined myself as a lone nomad, navigating an empty, nature-reclaimed world.

I figured, I'd run into other folks on my journey from pillar to post; but instead of the world coming together, the world becomes even more hostile to the point that the slightest glimmer of trust is out the window due to the fear of being robbed, killed, or tortured.
​
When I named the song "Walking Dead", I meant more-so that we as people are walking dead. We'd be living in a time where there is no god to come and save us, just the silence of nature and uncertainty.
Funny thing is that even in my song folder for this track, I was still naming the mix and master takes Cutlass Supreme as if I were gonna change my mind about the decision.
